I use Digg.com all of the time. It's one of the few Web 2.0 sites that I actually find totally useful. Users submit stories for review, and then users rate them. If you read a story you think is cool, click the Digg button and your vote is counted. Genius.
Kevin Rose is the brain behind this idea and you may remember him from TechTV. He and Alex Albrecht host a weekly video podcast covering some of the weekly "Dugg" stories from Digg.com and it's a really entertaining show. They obviously have a ton of fun doing the show and I digg it (pun intended).
They offer a WMV download of the show and I recently shared it to my XBox 360 via the built-in Windows Media Center Extender. I thought it would be cool to watch the show on a TV instead of my PC. Guess what...it was cool. Actually very enjoyable. I can see that subscribing to video podcasts via your Tivo or DVR will be just as useful as subscribing to a TV show...at least for me.
I hope the other video podcasts out there will make sure they offer WMV or AVI editions of their shows. They'll have a huge audience out there with XBox 360 owners. This is getting very cool.
